Wearing Stardust Armor or having other items that increase minion slots will subsequently increase the number of Spiders you can have more than normal; though it's not entirely recommended to mostly use Spiders, since Spider attacks count as piercing, meaning only so many of them can affect an enemy at once before the extra Spiders become obsolete. To craft Bypass Chips you need to have an empty slot. Then you need to get hold of 10 Plutonium and 10 Iron in order to craft a Bypass Chip in that empty slot.
